The UK’s favourite coven of goth-grungers VENUS GRRRLS have announced their very own headline tour of the UK in October & November, in the wake of a transcendent appearance on stage at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend just the other day. Pre-sale begins tomorrow at 9am with tickets going on general sale this Friday at 9am. The band say “Coven, you summoned us and we are answering your call ” You can also catch them at various festivals and events before then, including 2000trees, Rock For People and SXSW London. See below for details.

VENUS GRRRLS’ latest single ‘Eve’, now available backed by its instrumental as ‘Eve (Deluxe)’, is a pulsating track, fueled by intense yearning, which builds through an evocative vocal to a veritable explosion of angular grunge riffage. It’s travelled across the world wide web, featuring on the likes of Kerrang! and Rock Sound, has permeated the airwaves of BBC Radio 1 with plays on multiple shows and has just been added to the K! Nights playlist at Kerrang! Radio. ‘Eve’ has also landed in VENUS GRRRLS’ live set like a firework, already lighting up every crowd they play it to.

Vocalist GK says: “Eve was written after our guitarist had a bi panic crash out over Gillian Anderson. With the use of industrial textures juxtaposed with lush guitars and synths, we wanted to really communicate the duality of a bisexual awakening, and how it is as much a beautiful thing as it is turbulent. It was deeply important for us to write a song that conveyed true romantic attraction towards women rather than a platonic appreciation. They are entirely different, which is a pivotal message to the song. Eve is the love child of Nine Inch Nails and Fleetwood Mac, that grew up to be deeply passionate about women.”
