Southern California punk outfit zebrahead emerged at the peak of the vibrant punk scene of Orange County, CA, and have continued to push boundaries ever since. The energetic collective show their resilience and punk prowess with their 3-part EP series, concluding with their new I EP out today, which features their recent singles and brand new track ‘Puppet Stringers’.
When asked about ‘Puppet Stringers’, guitarist Dan Palmer shared: “It’s our new heavy jam that rounds out our new EP I.” Vocalist/rapper Ali Tabatabaee adds: “It’s like a nice poke in the eye with a sharp stick! Time to get in the pit!” With thunderous riffs, relentless energy, and a rebellious spirit, the track serves as a powerful anthem of independence and defiance. “Turn it up, let the chaos take over, and feel the surge of raw intensity!”
zebrahead teased the I EP with the release of songs ‘I Have Mixed Drinks About Feelings’, ‘Pulling Teeth’, ‘Doomsday on the Radio’, and ‘Sink Like a Stone’. “Prepare for an adrenaline-fueled ride with our latest release,” says Tabatabaee.
I is the follow-up to the III (2021) and II (2023) EPs, completing zebrahead’s III.II.I. series. “Finally, the last EP is here…this series represents where our heads have been during and since COVID,” shares bassist Ben Osmundson. “It’s been a trying time for everyone, and now it’s time for fresh starts. See you on tour!”
