Luke Spiller has released a surprise treat for fans today with a lyric video for his latest single, ‘The Ending Is Always The Same’, starring the legendary Noel Fielding.
The new track and visual are out ahead of Spiller’s debut solo album, Love Will Probably Kill Me Before Cigarettes and Wine, which follows on 25th April via Big Machine Rock.
“Who says lyric videos have to be boring or basic?” Spiller says. “We had a lot of fun putting this together and I’m honored to have my comedic hero, Noel Fielding, featuring in this video. We’re just getting started.”
‘The Ending Is Always The Same’ tells the story of an ill-fated love that feels like a vice. “It’s a classic scenario where you decide to break things off, but step into the murky waters of ‘let’s be friends,’” Spiller explains. “Then, before you know it, you’re hooking up and getting back together and going through the cycle again.”
Spiller will be performing at the 9th Annual Love Rocks NYC benefit concert at the Beacon Theater on March 6th, alongside Alicia Keys, Beck, Cher, Dave Stewart Eurythmics and more. Tickets are on sale now, in support of providing food and medical aid to people living with severe illnesses.
